About Me

My name is Daniel Scholle, and I'm a double graduate of Utah Valley University, looking for employment using the skills learned there. I first graduated in 2011 (with both an A.S. and an A.A.S. in Drafting Technology) and recently finished my Bachelor's in "Technology Management - Emphasis in Drafting Technology". I expect the diploma to arrive in May 2014, and in the meantime expect to find an entry-level management or drafting/modeling position.

This site was formed with the purpose of making myself known online; so I've uploaded projects from my drafting studies onto their corresponding pages, above. Below, you'll find an electronic version of my resume.

Professional Experience (by reverse chronology)

Mountain Dell Scout RanchBSA Camp T.I.F.I.E; Mount Pleasant, Utah

2009-2010 Shooting Sports Instructor;

2011-2012 Assistant Cook and Presentation Organizer;

·         Instructed 14- through 17-year-olds in the proper usage of modern shotguns and black-powder rifles as a certified Range Safety Officer and Instructor.

·         Duties required being patient and meticulous in working with others to ensure proper firearm usage.

·         Served 70+ people daily from 5am to 8pm in food storage and preparation. Duties incorporated leadership while working under little supervision for most of the day and performing work typically spread across shifts of multiple people in a kitchen and storeroom environment.

·         Being hygienic, organized, and operating according to a hectic and varying meal schedule were a daily requirement.

·         During time not spent in the kitchen, I prepared a number of multimedia presentations wherein the guests would submit material for inclusion in an end-of-week slideshow.

·         Both positions required large amounts of management trust; the first for being responsible with firearm and ammunition access in a remote part of the camp, and the second for safely storing and preparing everyone’s foodstuffs under limited supervision.

Professional Global Marketing Data Services; Orem, Utah

2007-2008 Research Associate;

·         Worked under near-constant supervision collecting and entering research data from a call-center contacting people on our clients’ behalf.

·         Main duties consisted of satisfaction/fact-finding interviews with past and then-existing customers of our clients (no cold-calling was involved, only people who had pre-existing business with our clients were contacted).

·         Live data entry required as little mistakes as possible and as quickly as possible.

·         Despite having legitimate claims for contacting people, much verbal abuse was encountered and coped with on a regular basis.

·         Developed a typing speed of approximately 70 words per minute by the time I left the company to attend UVU.

Letters of Recommendation Available Upon Request

When I began this site in November of 2011, I intended to have my B.S. finished by the end of 2013, as well as an internship in an organization that would use either my CAD abilities, or my management abilities that were under development. By May of 2013, it looked as though working in a managerial setting would be more likely, owing to many CAD/engineering organizations requiring years of previous experience but not offering many entry-level positions. As of January 2014, I finished my degree and am looking for relevant work in the area, while still being open to moving abroad as well.
